There’s a man I know; some of you may know him too. His name is Russell Johnson. Russell is a rare individual that has added much to countless lives through his work with JRJ Productions. Utilizing his talents within entertainment, creative production and his relationships within the worlds of music, film and sport, Russell has raised around Four Million Dollars for various deserving charities around the country, that is until recently.
He has devoted his adult life to helping others and raising his child, and he needs our help to do so. This is literally a life or death situation and together we can make a difference.

Russell lost his father to a rare congenital disease called Marfans Syndrome. As bad luck would have it, Russell suffers from the same condition only much worse. From an aneurysm in his descending aorta (causing a complete replacement all the way to the femoral arteries in his legs) to open-heart surgery resulting in the complete replacement of his aortic root, Russell’s health has caused many problems...
After many months of recovery, he was beginning to get back on his feet; both literally and figuratively.
About two years ago things took a turn for the worse and have continued to go downhill from there.

Over the years he has had seven different hernias (all as a result of Marfans Syndrome) and then he began developing Internal Bleeding; having been hospitalized 6 times over the past 7 months. At one point he required 5 blood transfusions because he was operating on 47% of his total blood volume (the doctors did not understand how or why he was alive). This keeps returning as his local doctors cannot determine the source or cause of the bleeds. This has also resulted in a drastic lack of strength, energy and stamina with several cases of loss of consciousness. He cannot walk longer than 40 feet without severe dizziness and having to stop all body movement. His last hospitalization, just 2 weeks ago came about when his blood pressure had dropped to 70/40. They have discovered a total of 7 DVTs (blood clots) in his legs. These are just the highlights of his current physical problems.
Finally, Russell has been admitted to The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, praying for a Diagnosis and Treatment Plan. Once a very successful businessman who devoted much of his work to the betterment of others, Russell has lost all of his savings to medical costs ( and an extended custody battle, which he won, when his wife left him while he was in the hospital). He is now in great debt and facing considerable medical costs just trying to stay alive.

Procuring the right talent for an event, be it a corporate cocktail reception to a large multi-act festival, is as much a creative process as it is a business operation. JRJ Productions pride itself on its capabilities in providing just the right mix of entertainment that applies to the event. At times, there is a specific request; JRJ can find that talent and determine price and availability, usually within hours. Other cases call for talent suggestions.
JRJ has a reputation for choosing the best talent possible and appropriate for the specific event and budget. Its process of buying the talent could easily be called “The Art of the Deal”. JRJ is known for its tough negotiating skills and where and how to reach the best possible deal for its clients.
Its booked the biggest names in entertainment to local guitarists. From national comedians to the highest level speakers in the nation, from acts that are currently on the charts to many legends, there is not an area of talent that it haven’t dealt with.
It is known as an “artist’s producer”, meaning it has a reputation within the talent world of providing a smooth production experience for the talent and therefor the client.
