Zehayom is a national network of Jews in 12 step recovery programs. Our primary purpose is to help carry the message to the addict who still suffers AND may have Jewish cultural barriers that block her/him from easily finding the appropriate 12 step fellowship.

We operate a 24-hour Helpline, 1-866-ZEHAYOM (866-934-2966). People who feel they have nowhere else to turn connect with our experienced, non judgmental volunteers and often get the help they need. Volunteers working the helpline are trained and supported by social workers, rabbis and experienced public information subcommittee members of various proven 12 step groups.

Our costs are minimal, as we are run primarily by volunteers and a low cost helpline coordinator. Other expenses include the VOIP phone lines, poster costs, website development, etc.

Our track record is proven, but our reach is only as wide as our publicity, which costs money. Please make a generous contribution to help us spread the word to more suffering Jewish addicts so that we can help them find recovery. j1-866-ZEHAYOM.
